Hey, friends! Hope you all had a great Memorial Day Weekend! 2023 has kept us super busy with several exciting things so I figured we were well overdue for a little update. We celebrated my 40th birthday in February with a 90’s/Britney Spears theme party in Arkansas with all of my childhood friends, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect! I truly thought that was going to be the biggest highlight of the year, but then came along an amazing and unexpected opportunity (which wraps up tonight at MIDNIGHT)….
I got to design a necklace with the Miami based jewelry company, Taudrey!! When they reached out with this collaboration, I was initially nervous considering I’m not a jewelry designer, but they were SO wonderful with guiding me through the whole process, and it was so much fun. God’s timing never fails, and they came into my life with an opportunity I didn’t even know I needed in that moment. It has been such a blessing, and I’m so thankful for their trust in me to design a piece for their Mother’s Day Collection. They are a female owned company that handcrafts and personalizes all of their jewelry in house, and they truly embrace women supporting women. As soon as we had our first meeting, we both knew we would be a great fit because we share the same values, and I love that they offer so many meaningful pieces that can be customized to make it extra personal. I met up with them in NYC before the necklace launched (again, God’s timing had a hand in that one because midweek trips to the city are usually impossible), and Grace gave me my first piece of permanent jewelry at their event. It’s special to have that little reminder every day of this whole experience!
So now that we’re caught up on the backstory of how this all came to fruition, we have to share the meaning behind the piece! The “Infinite Faith” necklace is two separate necklaces that can be worn together or individually. You have the option to choose between a gold filled cross or crystal starburst as the charm on the lariat. This delicate necklace was inspired by my devotion to faith – something that has played an essential role in giving me strength to overcome times of struggle and has shaped me into the mother I am today. Jewelry that is sentimental and meaningful has always brought me comfort when I wear it so this piece was designed to represent the hope, comfort and guidance that eternal faith will always provide as you navigate through life.
