One of my favorite things about this time of year (besides the food and family time) is all the plaid and warmer tones you get to wear. Fall is my favorite season for styling outfits because the options are endless with outerwear, accessories, and all of the BOOTS!! Oh how I love me some boots. When I saw this plaid coat, I had to grab it because the tones are so beautiful, and it’s more lightweight which is great for layering. If you live somewhere that hasn’t started feeling quite like fall yet, this is a great option if you’re wanting to dress for the season without burning up! I paired it with a sleeveless turtleneck sweater, but when it really cools down I’ll opt for one with sleeves like this one (on sale too!). This would be such a cute Thanksgiving outfit!
Also, I have to highlight these knee high boots because they are probably my favorite pair I have ever owned! That’s a bold statement, especially when it comes to tan boots (Lord knows I’ve had enough pairs to compare), but between the color, the soft leather, and comfort, they are absolutely a ten out of ten! Side note: They are made to accommodate wider calves so there is extra room in the shaft, which I know for some people is a bonus because that can be hard to find in boots sometimes.
