Transitioning To Fall: Date Night Looks From Revolve

It’s September so you know what that means! I actually got into the fall spirit a few weeks ago when pumpkins started popping up at all the stores, but I know most people feel like August is too early to dive into pumpkin spice everything. I decided to save this post for this weekend which marks the official end of summer, and now we can officially dive into fall fashion! Our summer has been one of the busiest we have ever had, which hasn’t left much time for Lee and I to have a good old date night. Once school starts and we get back into a routine, we plan on having them more regularly so naturally I had to round up a few looks….you know, just to be prepared in case there’s a surprise date thrown in there. 😉 For trips or looks for a night out on the town, I always go straight to REVOLVE because they have so many great options when it comes dresses, chic weekend ready looks, and the best selection of denim!

This skirt was one I couldn’t resist. It takes the leather mini skirt trend to the next level, and is so fun and flirty. I paired it with a lace top for a monochromatic look, but a black sweater like this or this would also be great for a simpler, more fall-ish vibe.

Calling all Carrie Bradshaw fans. This one’s for you! I’ve had this dress on my wishlist FOREVER, but last year didn’t leave me with many options to have somewhere to wear it. Since they finally started filming the next SATC, it was time to get the dress! There’s not much stretch which I like, and the cut is incredibly flattering.

Blazers elevate any outfit and aren’t just for suits anymore! I love to wear them with denim and a white tee or as shown above with faux leather pants for a chic date night look. The belt adds detail and gives you the option to wear just a bralette underneath if you wanted. It comes in black too!

For a more casual look, pairing joggers with a nice sweater is a fun option I always like to try! This semi cropped sweater is EVERYTHING and can be styled so many ways. It elevates these joggers and makes it perfect for a night out while still being comfortable and effortlessly chic.

Last, but certainly not least, the classic denim + bodysuit combo. If you ever don’t know what to wear, you know this will always be an option that will never go out of style and can easily be recreated from what you already have in your closet. The straight leg trend is still going strong, and I love this pair because it holds you in, yet they are very soft. As much as I wear denim, comfort is huge for me and these pass the test!
