So many of us have looked to Amazon lately for just about everything since Quarantine started (actually that’s probably been happening way before the stay at home orders were put in place) but with so much extra downtime, it’s been hard to not just buy the most random stuff! Anyway, I did a poll on my IG stories recently, and several of yall wanted a roundup of my recent Amazon purchases…..so here they are and the reasons why I thought they were worth mentioning!
BATH TOWELS – We recently got rid of a bunch of random towels we had in the guest bathroom, and I replaced them with these. They are SO soft, and I haven’t had any issues with shedding. I had forgotten how expensive towels can be so I was happy to find these that were a more affordable option without sacrificing quality.
GALLON WATER BOTTLE – I’m terrible about my water intake so I had to get something that would encourage me to do a little better and see how much I was actually taking in. All about the visual!
ONE PIECE CUTOUT SWIMSUIT – This suit is so darn cute! It comes in several colors and with removable straps, and it’s a great combination of a bikini and one piece. I have a bigger bust so I got the medium to make sure I’d have enough coverage.
PORTABLE STEAMER – This is just really convenient and perfect for travel. It heats up quickly, and I’ve actually been using it more than our larger one we have in the laundry room because it’s just so handy. Now I look for wrinkles just so I have an excuse to use it. 😂
CLEAR COFFEE MUG SET – I’ll be honest, I’ve seen so many Nespresso ads with the clear coffee cups, it inspired me to get some of my own. These are a fraction of the price compared to a lot that are out there. They aren’t as dense and heavy as a ceramic mug but more of a lightweight glass.
FACIAL STEAMER – This is not a must have obviously as part of your nighttime skincare routine, but it sure is a nice little bonus. Sometimes I barely have enough energy left at the end of the day to even wash my face, and other days I know I need to make time for a little self care. I use this to open up my pores before cleansing, and it’s actually pretty darn relaxing. It’s compact too so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.
ICE ROLLER – I used this nearly every morning while Nicholas was on zoom with his class! It helps relieve puffiness in your face and under your eyes and is so refreshing! It’s similar to rinsing your face with cold water, but without having to get wet.
WOODEN HANGERS – I replaced some of my pant hangers with these. Great quality!
CHERRY BLOSSOM BRANCHES – I still haven’t figured out where I’m going to put these, but they’re going somewhere! Lately, I’ve been on a big cherry blossom and eucalyptus kick so I’ll be sure and keep you posted where everything ends up.
BED SHEETS – FRIENDS. When I tell you these are the best sheets ever….I mean it. I purchased our first pair almost 2 years ago and went back to stock up for all the other beds in the house. They’re so soft (not jersey material but not sateen….sort of in between the two, I guess) and they have held up so well. Go look at the reviews! And $37 for king size!
PORTABLE CHARGER – For the last couple of years, I’ve used the Anker portable charger and love it. However, so many people were raving about this one, and I like it so much better. It plugs directly into the wall so there’s no extra cords, and it has three attachments to accommodate all types of cell phones.
GRAPHIC SWEATSHIRT – This is a little cropped but still covers your tummy, and it comes in several colors. Very designer inspired!
STAINLESS STEEL TUMBLER SET – These tumblers are cute, keep your drink cold, and fit in the cupholder in the car. They also come with stainless steel straws, which I like since I’ve been trying to use less of the plastic ones.
VOGUE COFFEE TABLE BOOK – There are so many good coffee table books on Amazon right now, and this is a classic.
RECHARGABLE FLAMELESS LIGHTER – This is a fancier version of the flame lighters we use for candles, but this one is supposed to last much longer since you can recharge it. It’s cute too!
SCALP MASSAGER – This can be used in the shower while shampooing your hair or just when you need a little tension released from your scalp. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve grabbed it and used it while walking around the house!
