Ahhh, I can’t believe my baby boy is about to be SIX!! We had the best time at his birthday party on Saturday so I’m excited to share all the details! I had heard about a place near us that had Ninja Warrior type courses (Warrior Gyms) and it was such a neat place to have his party. The kids loved it, and I think some of the parents were kind of wishing we could join in too.
Nicholas has long loved dinosaurs, as most of you know, and lately he’s really been into alligators and crocodiles too. We decided since we’ve already done the dinosaur theme, we would decorate with lots of green and brown and go with a swampy/alligator theme this year. Ya’ll know me…I can’t help myself when it comes to extra details for a party. He’s old enough now where we could just book a place, get the cake, and show up, but I just can’t leave it at that. It’s definitely a lot more work, but I love taking an idea and executing it to make the party that much more special. The goody bags were a huge hit with the kids because we had them set up in front of their plates so they were able to go through it while they had their pizza and cake. My mom brought mini alligator water guns to add to the bags, and the kids were cracking us up with how creative they were in putting water in them so they could shoot each other. We also added reptile tattoos, candy, rubber alligator bracelets, and included an alligator cutout mask on the outside of the bag to go with the theme. I printed off these thank you cards from Etsy, and tied them with green and tan raffia ribbon. It made it fun and festive, but still worked for a boy’s birthday party!
PARTY FAVORS
Nicholas said this was the best day of his whole life, so I’d say he enjoyed his party!😂 He had been talking about it for weeks and was so excited for it to get here, so it was really fun to see it all play out and for him to enjoy this day with his friends! Happy early 6th Birthday to our sweet boy!!
