Happy Tuesday, friends! Let’s talk what to wear to Cattle Baron’s Ball. This is a wonderful event that benefits the American Cancer Society, and it’s such a fun one to get dressed up for! I feel like this event truly resonates in the south because of it’s western theme so I’m really excited to share this post. Depending on where the fundraiser is being held, you can either get really dressed up or keep it casual with jeans and some good ol’ cowboy boots. Below are three different outfits to hopefully serve as some inspiration for what to wear…whether that be glam, classic, or casual chic.
LOOK 1 – GLAM
BODYSUIT (6) // SKIRT (also here and here) // BOOTS (similar here) // CLUTCH // EARRINGS (sold out but similar here)
This is a look that could work for more occasions than just CBB. A popular trend is to wear something with bling to really stand out (we southerners prefer the go big or go home mentality) so you could always add a rhinestone necklace to this if you really want to go all out for the occasion!
LOOK 2 – CLASSIC
SWEATER (from JUSTFAB but similar here and here) // SKIRT (6) // BOOTS (on MAJOR sale!!) TTS // CLUTCH // BELT // EARRINGS (similar)
I know this isn’t necessarily the definition of “classic” but I do think it’s a classy yet still fun outfit for the event, and one that you could easily recreate. I will say….these boots are one of my favorite purchases I have made this season. They’re a little shorter than a knee high boot, but not as short as a bootie so I guess you could call it a calf boot? I wasn’t sure how they would look on, but I am obsessed and they would be so perfect for CBB! They come in black and tan too and are currently on sale for 60% off!! They’re a great option if you’re wanting the western boot look without fulling committing to a cowboy boot.
LOOK 3 – CASUAL CHIC
BLAZER (also here, here, and here) // LACE TOP (S) // SHORTS // BOOTS // SUNGLASSES // HANDBAG // EARRINGS
Again, I am in love with these boots. Can you tell?😂 This outfit may be better off with a pair of jeans, but for whatever reason this look popped in my head with denim cutoffs, and I’m so into it. Oversized + plaid blazers are so on trend right now and pairing it with a feminine lace top gives the look the perfect balance. Which look is your favorite?
