I recently did a try on haul on IG stories sharing a few things for summer, and several pieces will be great for transitioning to fall. Since everyone isn’t on Instagram, and sometimes you just miss things that happen on stories, I decided to recap it all in a blog post for y’all!
Cami (Medium) // Snake Print Shorts (Small) // Clear Sandals (on sale) // Necklace
These shorts were such a fun find! I love anything snake print, and I like that these are a mauve color rather than your standard gray. They come in several colors, and they’re only $10! This cami is always a hot ticket through summer and fall each year. It comes in multiple colors and can be styled so many ways with so many different things. These sandals are so chic to me, and the clear straps make them really unique but still fun.
Peplum Top (Small) // Shorts (6) // Wedges // Pearl Headband
This peplum top is super lightweight, and also has a lot of stretch which I like (under $10). These shorts are on sale for $18, and are great for transitioning into fall. You can wear them now with a tank, and as it starts cooling off you can pair them with a sweater and booties. The olive color makes them a great transitional piece, and they’re super comfy.
Kimono (one size) // Bodysuit (Small) // Sandals
I’ve worn this kimono a million times, as y’all have seen already, but I just love it. They just marked it down even more to $21 which is such a good deal! It’s another great transitional piece to wear now with shorts, and pair with jeans later.
Top (6) (Dress version here) // Denim (27) // Sandals // Earrings
My kind of date night look! The colors in this chiffon top are so pretty, and it’s just so feminine. It also comes in this dress version too, which would look great with a black leather jacket and booties. I paired it with these earrings which match perfectly and make a fun statement. If you prefer to put away white pants after labor day, you could wear it with black or blue denim too. This white pair of denim is so flattering (and not see through), and I like that it has a raw hem that hits just above my ankle. I’m 5’3 so that is sometimes difficult for me to find in jeans without having to have them hemmed. They are an investment, but they are currently on sale!
Sweatshirt (Large…I like mine oversize) // Shorts (28…if in between sizes, go up one) // Sneakers
For some people, I know these shorts may not be your jam, but I have to say, I love them! You can wear them casually like above, or you could wear them with heels and an off the shoulder sweater for a chic and more sexy look. This sweatshirt is ultra soft, and a great piece to throw on for those casual days running errands.
Peplum Top (Medium) // Denim (27…size down one if in between sizes) // Faux Leather Jacket (Small) // Heels
Date night looks are always fun to style because it really depends on your mood when deciding what to wear. If you want to feel sassy when your honey takes you out, this look is perfect for those kind of occasions. This peplum top is amazing and also comes in white. The burgundy color is so pretty, and the lace detailing gives it a nice little extra touch. Throw on some jeans and black heels, and you’re ready for dinner and drinks!
Cardi (Medium) // Cami (Medium) // Denim // Snake Print Booties (TTS) // Hat (sold out but similar here)
This look screams “hi, I’m a blogger” but I don’t even care. Pairing this cami (same as the white one mentioned above) with a cardigan is a great go to as it starts to cool down, and these snake print booties are LIFE!!! They’re actually really comfortable, and I should probably go ahead and apologize for how often you’ll have to see them on me. 😂
Stud Sandals (Went up .5 size)
I recently found these on sale and love the stud detailing! I plan on taking them with me to Florida because they’ll go with tons of stuff.
Cardi (Small) // Bodysuit (Small) // Booties // Necklace // Earrings (here and here)
This is the quintessential transitional look for fall in my opinion. A good oversized cardi + booties combo always makes me happy, and you can wear it with shorts now while it’s still warm and switch to jeans when it gets cooler.
