What a whirlwind of a week!! Between the start of early access for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Amazon Prime Day, it’s been a little cray. Now we are gearing up for Round TWO because public access for the Nordstrom Sale starts TODAY!!! Everyone is now able to shop the sale so if there are some things you’ve had your eye on, now is your chance to scoop it up. Everyone always says it, but it’s very true when they say things go fast so just keep that in mind in case there is something you just absolutely need or can’t live without! I’ve gone through everything I tried on, ordered, have worn a few times and that is still in stock (for now at least) and will be sharing them below. Similar to my previous post regarding this sale, everything is broken up into categories to make searching for a particular type of item as easy and convenient as possible!
SHOES
Let’s start with one of my favorite categories. Even though there are several shoes in this sale, I was so happy to see there wasn’t hundreds of boots, booties, etc. Sometimes it’s just too much so these are the ones that I picked up and LOVE. This boot is a great OTK option because it sits right above your knee and the heel isn’t too tall. It can work for both casual and dressier outfits, and the tan is such a beautiful neutral. I’m also so excited about this boot…it comes in black and a dark taupe…..it is super flattering on and very comfortable. Just a little PSA that not many people have touched on…these Stuart Weitzman boots are included in the sale, and I wore mine out last year!
JACKETS & CARDIGANS
This is the category I always get a little out of control in, but I tried to be more conscious about what all I purchased this year. This cardigan is thicker and great quality, and I loved the rust color. I am beyond obsessed with this blazer…if you follow me on Instagram then you probably saw me talking about it already. It’s so good! I caved this year and got the Barefoot Dreams cardi everyone always talks about, and I loved it so much I went back and got another color. It feels like BUTTER on, and I’ve worn it nearly every day around the house (except for when I’m upstairs because we have no A/C up there š©). I have it in the XS/S and the medium…and honestly I think I like the fit of the medium better! My two favorite jackets were this puffer jacket that is a great dupe to the Moncler (it’s very warm too) and this wool coat that is so dreamy. It doesn’t necessarily look that appealing on the hanger, but it lays on your body beautifully, and the color is so vibrant and stunning.
DENIM & LEGGINGS
Okay, I have to start with these two leggings. I had to get a new pair of Zellas because they are part of my uniform about 90% of the time…especially when it gets cooler. They are just the ABSOLUTE best and so flattering. Another pair that I love are these spanx. They can be dressed up or worn with casual outfits which makes them so versatile. I had the small last year and sized up to medium this year, but they both fit…I’m just more comfortable in the medium (Lee needs to stop feeding me!). This pair of denim was a surprise find, but I fell in love with the fit and light black wash. This is a great pair if you’re into wide leg denim. That will be really on trend for fall (the 70’s are back!), and the distressing isn’t overboard which I like. They run bigger so I sized down one. I loved this pair because it was a boyfriend cut, but didn’t look bulky. It was something different than what I already have so it made sense to get these! I sized down one in them as well because they do stretch. I know that was a ton of info just on pants, but all of those were worth mentioning!
TOPS & SWEATERS
This top was hands down my favorite “fancier” top from the sale. There’s only a few sizes left, but I had to share it in case it may be your size that’s available. It’s so gorgeous and fun! Along with leggings, I wear sweatshirts nonstop during fall and winter so I got this and this and love them. Soft and comfy and basically all I want to wear.
ACCESSORIES
We’re almost done! If you’ve made it this far into the post, God bless you! This crossbody makes me so happy, and Annie, who helped me with everything at the store said “It’s so you!” I got the yellow, but if bright and loud isn’t your thing it comes in three other colors, including black. This Tory Burch crossbody is also part of the sale, and a great staple to have. It fits all your essentials, and goes with literally everything. I ordered these sunnies after they were restocked, but they haven’t come in yet. I think they’re funky and different, and they scream those seventies vibes which will be all the rage come fall!
