Happy Weekend, yall! I’m definitely glad this past week is over. My family recently received some very sad news, and it just really threw me off and put me in a not so great space. I definitely needed a few days to just be in those emotions and take a little social media break. However, I know it isn’t healthy to dwell on things that are out of your control so I’m going to do my best to be present in the moment and just remain thankful for the good things. Because in life, there is always something to be thankful for.
Since I usually just talk about one look in each blog post, I thought it’d be fun to change it up and share one outfit styled three different ways! This two piece set is seriously the cutest, and I’ve had my eye on it for awhile. It recently went on sale so I snatched it up, and it fits just like I hoped it would! I’m 5’3 so the pants are less cropped, but you could always get them hemmed or leave them as they are. I actually don’t mind the length on me. Since Free People tends to run a little big, I went with the small and it was a perfect fit. I’m still nowhere near the shape I want to be in so cropped anything usually isn’t for me, but the pants are elastic and high waisted so I didn’t feel like I was showing more skin than I was comfortable with.
Anyway, I LOVE this set together. It’s a fun boho look that is SO comfortable because the material is very lightweight (but don’t worry it isn’t see through). To get the most bang for your buck out of an outfit, I love that you can pair the top with some jeans (this pair fits like a glove) and heels for a date night, or the bottoms with a graphic tee like this one and sandals for a casual day look. I just got these sandals and when I say obsessed, I couldn’t mean it more!! OMG, they are so fun! Since pregnancy, my shoe size has fluctuated a bit so I’m always in between a 7 and 7.5. I went with the 7.5 in this one because I definitely needed the extra room.
Which look is your favorite?
