Holy moly, I died and went to heaven with this outfit! If there were ever a single look that could describe my style, it is 100% this. The statement tee with the moto jacket over your shoulders (y’all know I’ve been wearing that look out lately..haha), the bold leopard print skirt, the booties…these are my favorite things, and it’s a look that just gets me really excited! Fashion is supposed to be fun, and most of the time I’m rocking dirty hair in a pony and leggings so to be bold with style when I get the chance makes me so happy. Sometimes I feel like dressing feminine and neutral, and others I just want all the edge I can get!
I stopped in Nordstrom recently to make a return, and of course I found my way in the middle of all their new spring arrivals, and this skirt immediately caught my attention. Looking at it on the hanger, I was afraid it would only work for someone taller, but oh my word I loved it the moment I put it on! I do need to have the length altered just a bit so it looks like a midi skirt and not a full length one that I’m flooding in. Either way, it was such a good find. It’s a soft satin, I love the print, and you can style it with a more casual look in mind or really dress it up. I honestly wasn’t even sure what I was going to wear it with, but after playing around with a few tops I threw on this tee which y’all have just loved, and I tied it up to give the look a little more polish.
If you’re not into bold looks, even a neutral midi skirt with any type of graphic tee would look super chic, and it’s always such a comfortable option too!
