Happy Thursday, friends! We’re just now getting out of a huge arctic blast and it finally doesn’t feel like Antarctica! The high earlier this week was only 15 degrees, and let me tell you…that was FREEZING!! Of course, today it’s rainy and so windy so this weather is all over the place. Anyway, on to warmer thoughts with this adorable dress I recently got from Red Dress Boutique!
I initially purchased it thinking I would take it on my trip to New York City next month, but I think it’s probably going to be too cold to wear it as a dress. However, there are so many occasions it would be perfect for (date night, brunch, wedding/baby shower, etc.). I love the balloon sleeves, and the belt gives your waist some shape so you have a more fitted look without it being too tight. It’s a chenille material so it is so soft, and the rust color is gorgeous! It also comes in this champagne color that I love too! If you wanted to be more conservative, you could wear it with these leggings and booties. I tried it on with a pair of nude sock booties (like these) and it was SO cute! It’s under $50, and I think it’ll be a great transition piece for spring!
