Happy Saturday, friends! Hope ya’ll are having a great start to your weekend! I took a poll recently, and a lot of you requested to see some festive holiday looks so I figured we’d go ahead and get a head start on it! In order to give you more options, I styled this jacket two different ways and both would be perfect for a dinner party, office party, church, or really any event you may be going to for the holidays.
The first look is a fun option without being too risky. I love this coat because of the grid pattern and because of the way it lays on your shoulders. The fit is so chic, and it comes in a black version too! I paired it with this red sweater to make the outfit pop and it felt so festive!
The second look was how I first envisioned wearing this coat! I love adding a touch of something unexpected, and a beret is the perfect way to achieve that. It can instantly elevate your outfit to the next level, and they’re just so fun to wear! This one comes in three colors so if red is a bit too much, they have neutral options that are a little more subtle. I added red booties to complete the outfit because I’m just extra like that and like to match my accessories to my shoes! Haha! I do think it ties everything together so you don’t have to be daring to pull this off.
I can’t finish this post without mentioning my lipstick. I recently tried it for the first time, and I LOVE it! It goes on like a liquid and dries to a velvety matte. It actually stays on really well, and the color is absolutely gorgeous! This color is Starlet Scarlet and would be perfect for holiday makeup. I’ll be going back for the other colors soon because I love the pigment and how it feels on my lips!
