Happy Monday, yall! Hope you’re having a great start to your week! We had a busy weekend with birthday parties, a movie date, and then another date just me and Lee on Sunday. That NEVER happens! I’d consider that a pretty successful weekend.
I have been dying to share this dress with you for the longest time, but you know how life can get in the way and sometimes things just don’t happen when you want them to. But hey, we’re here now, and I am so excited to talk about this look!
A trend that really gained some momentum these last few seasons is pearl embellishments. Whether they are on denim jackets, dresses, sweaters, the trend is everywhere. I love it because it can give the most basic piece some flare and really make it something unique. This sweater dress from Chicwish is one of those unique pieces that is so fun! I paired it with these white booties because I wanted to bring out the color of the pearls, but you could also wear it with over the knee black boots (like these) which would be SO cute too. The balloon sleeves add a little more detail and make the dress even more trendy than it already is. They also have this sweater version that isn’t a dress if you’re looking for something to pair with denim and be a little more casual.
