Hi, friends! Can you believe summer is almost over, and school is already starting back?! I apologize for being so MIA with the blog….we have been going nonstop lately, and I’ve been making more of an effort to be present with the family. When I realized how long it had been since doing a post, I knew I needed to check in and say hi, and thought I’d share some of my latest looks over the last few weeks in case you missed them on Instagram or Facebook!

I went to dinner with some girlfriends recently, and I finally got to wear this kimono that I just love! It comes with a belt and could even be used as a robe. The colors are gorgeous, and you can wear it now or even when the weather gets a little cooler. My denim was an anniversary sale purchase, and they fit like a glove. They are an investment piece, but with this pair you absolutely get what you pay for. I’ll be wearing this constantly through the next several months!

Another lunch date (at the same place…ha!) and this outfit was perfect for the transitioning seasons. It’s still August, but this day was a little cooler so this sweater worked perfectly. Ya’ll see me wearing these jeans ALL the time because they are seriously the absolute best! They have such a flattering fit, and have some stretch so they’re very comfortable. My shoes were a recent purchase that I just happened to notice in the store….and y’all….they are the comfiest platforms I have ever worn! It doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing a shoe! The material is a chestnut suede so you could easily rock these through the fall.

We had a low key pool day just the four of us a couple of weekends ago, but you know ya girl always has to be extra. Haha! This kimono is EVERYTHING, and it is only $20!!

In case you can’t tell, I’m a creature of habit so I’m always wearing these earrings and these layered necklaces because they’re simple, yet still dress up any outfit. This tee comes in so many colors, and is such a great basic!

This top was one of my favorite purchases this summer. It now comes in a few colors, and the patterns are so gorgeous! It has a generous fit, but it’s still so feminine and can be worn with shorts or jeans when it starts to get cooler. Throw on some heels and you’ve got the perfect date night outfit!

We took the kids to Field Station: Dinosaurs and it was hotter than a son of a gun so the cardigan didn’t last long. Right now I’m loving the shorts + tee + cardigan look, and I usually like to pair it with booties, but it was just too hot! So I opted for these sandals because they are SO comfortable, and I love the wedge sole. I wore these all through the park, and all around Six Flags on the same day with no problem whatsoever!

Oh, my sweet husband. Ha! Pictures on not his forte because he just hates being photographed so sometimes this is what I get! This sweater is the softest and most beautiful sweater!! I’m loving anything leopard so this was a must have in my opinion! You can wear it off the shoulder or not, and the sleeves have a little flare in them so it’s truly a great piece for fall.
