Hey friends! Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is slowing starting to wrap up so I wanted to share some of my favorite beauty picks before it’s too late! I’m a creature of habit so once I find a beauty routine that works, I usually stick with it. However, I branched out during this sale and purchased some new things I wanted to try, and I actually really ended up loving them!
This first item that went straight to my cart was this Oribe apothecary set….if you saw my recent hair tutorial, then you know my love for their texturizing spray! I also LOVE the shampoo and conditioner, and I buy it every time I go to the salon so I never run out. I know this is the travel size, but this would be a great time to try out the product to make sure you love it (you totally will) before you purchase the larger sizes. Just a thought!
I also changed up my makeup routine, and purchased this foundation thanks to my sister in law’s recommendation, and I have to say I am so happy with it. It isn’t part of the sale, but while I was there I did get this lip set, and it is gorgeous! It also comes in this pink option too. I usually stick to Mac lipsticks if I’m not wearing Lipsense, but I love how soft and buttery the YSL lipstick feels on your lips so that was definitely a win in my book!
If you love playing with metallics for eyeshadows then this set is for you! Sometimes even during the week, I’ll add in some metallic shades on my eyelid right above my eyelashes just to brighten up my eyes so this is a palette I know I’ll get plenty of use from. The colors are beautiful and pigmented, and this would also be great to wear for a night out! Speaking of eyeshadows, these are the brushes I use to apply them, and they are also part of the sale. I’ve been using them for years!
When it comes to blush, I usually stick with this from Nars, but I am obsessed with this blush palette that I got from the sale! It has shimmer which gives your cheeks some extra glow, and it has three different shades to compliment different skin tones. I use this brand’s primer for my face (find that here), and all of their products I have tried so far have become some of my favorites.
For skincare, I am a huge fan of Tula products, but I also use these cleansing cloths for when I’m in a hurry or just need to wipe off my face on my non makeup days…and let’s be honest….that’s most days! haha! They remove your face makeup as well as eye makeup, and they really are just handy to have.
