It’s almost that time again! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale AKA the biggest sale of the year! It’s funny to think I did my very first blog post last year covering this sale (what on earth was I thinking?), and it’s already time for it again. I guess you could say I just jumped right in and went for it even though I had NO idea what I was doing, but I had so much fun with it, and I’m so excited to do it again!
WHAT IS IT??
If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a HUGE sale Nordstrom has every year that has brand new inventory marked down to crazy good prices. It lasts from July 12th – August 5th, and it’s a great time to stock up on tons of fall items because this is a majority of what you’ll find at discounted prices. Sweaters, boots (Stuart Weitzman!!), dresses, denim, must have jackets, designer handbags, and even home decor. There will be tons of top brand items that will be available at much more affordable price points!
WHEN CAN I START SHOPPING?
If you have a Nordstrom card, you can shop the early access sale starting on July 12 – 19th, and the sale opens up to the rest of the public on July 20th. A lot of items sell out during early access, so it’s a great idea to have the Nordstrom card so you don’t miss out on some great items! You can apply for one here. In addition to shopping early, you get a $40 bonus note when you make any purchase on your card the day you’re approved! If a credit card isn’t your thing, you can sign up for Nordstrom Rewards and they will give you a $10 note to spend at the Anniversary Sale. And just to be clear, Nordstrom Rewards is not a credit card….it just allows you to earn points with your purchases and for every 2,000 points you earn, you get a $20 Nordstrom note!
