Hey, friends! Independence Day is almost here, and ya’ll know how much I love dressing according themes! This is such a fun holiday to be with friends, barbecue, swim, and celebrate America! I’ve put together some items that would be great to wear for different types of occasions, whether it be a more upscale setting or a good ole barbecue in someone’s backyard (one of my faves). This kimono is one of my favorite things to throw on over my swimsuit! It’s lightweight, and I just love the detailing on the sleeves and the bottom. It comes in this color and this color as well, and I’m thinking I may need the white one too! This swimsuit is the same brand as this swimsuit I never shut up about, and it is just as flattering! The detailing around the neckline gives it a little sassiness, which I am a total fan of! #AlwaysExtra
The kids and I will be back in New Jersey for the holiday, and since my husband LOVES to cook, I’m sure he’ll have a full menu of things he’ll want to prepare on the griddle, while the kids and I pretty much swim until we’re shriveled up like prunes! I’m really looking forward to a fun day with the family….and lots of fireworks!! The hubs knows a thing or two about that too so I’m sure we’ll have our own great show.
