Coat: Club Monaco (very similar here and here) | Sweater: H&M | Jeans: Free People | Booties: Manolo Blahnik | Sunglasses: QUAYAUSTRALIA | Handbag: Gucci | Earrings: Baublebar | Necklaces: Kate Spade
Happy Monday, babes! I hope you all had a fun and safe St. Patrick’s Day! I know y’all are probably tired of hearing me talk about my New York trip by now so the good news is, we are finally getting down to the last few looks! Then it’s on to Spring!! If the weather can ever get it’s act together.
Anyway, I was excited about this look because number one…how about that backdrop?!? And two, it’s an easy look to recreate. I always wish I did more monochromatic looks because I think they look so chic, but the flamboyant side of me always needs a pop of something so the outfit isn’t too simple. I just can’t help it! So these Manolo Blahnik booties gave the outfit that pop I was looking for, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t just sit and stare at them sometimes. They are so beautiful! This handbag also gave the outfit some flare, and it’s something that can be paired with both dressy and casual outfits.
My coat was on sale when I purchased it so, of course, it sold out faster than I could put it on, but I found this coat that is nearly identical and at a much better price point. Sweaters from H&M were my thing this season, and this one was no different. It’s actually on sale right now too! You see me in these jeans all of the time because they have the most flattering fit, and I love the busted knee to give it some edge. I sized up one in them since they have a more snug fit. You also see me wearing these sunnies ALL of the time too, and that’s because they honestly are better than some of my high end designer pairs. The mirror lenses are so chic (I say that word way too often..ha!), and they are extremely lightweight so they don’t feel uncomfortable on your face!
If you’re ever stumped on what to wear, you can always go for a monochromatic look and it will instantly elevate your outfit. You can play with different shades of the same color, or mix and match different textures. And if you’re like me and still need a wow factor in your outfit, opt for a statement boot or handbag, and you’ll be set and totally chic! ←See there it is again.
