I know Halloween has already come and gone, and most of us are looking forward to Thanksgiving and even Christmas, but I couldn’t let this year go by without sharing our Halloween looks! This was Ella’s first Halloween, and Nicholas has reached the age where trick or treating is so exciting for him so this year was so much fun! Originally, Nicholas wanted to be Superman, but that quickly changed when my mom gave him a dragon costume. That was an instant favorite for him so there was no going back! Naturally, that meant Ella had to be a princess, and what a perfect Princess Aurora she was! Since I’m still a kid at heart and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, I decided to go as Maleficent so we could all be characters from Sleeping Beauty! So perfect, right? (Thanks, Mom! 😘)
I ordered Ella’s costume from this Etsy shop, and the lady did such an amazing job! Her hat was icing on the cake.
For my makeup, I used the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe eyeshadow palette for my eyes and all of the contouring. For my foundation, I just found the lightest shade available at Ulta, and it gave me the pale complexion needed in order to look like Maleficent. I love getting into character and being creative with makeup so this was so much fun for me!
We had a great time riding around in the golf cart trick or treating, and we are already looking forward to next year! What should we be??
