This past weekend was a very special one for our family. Ella was baptized at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church on Sunday, and it was such a beautiful day! From the ceremony (even though she cried the entire time!), to the luncheon we had at our house afterwards, everything was so nice and made for such a memorable day. To know that we have dedicated our baby girl to God, and that she is now part of the Catholic Church is such a special feeling, and something I will always cherish. Lee was adamant that he and Nicholas had matching suits (how cute are they?!?), and seeing Ella in her Christening gown nearly had me in tears. Monika from this Etsy shop made her dress, and she did an incredible job!
I am so grateful for my family and that God has blessed me so abundantly! Days like this past Sunday are excellent reminders of how blessed we are and that children really are a gift from God. Thank you to all of our friends and family that came out to celebrate our baby girl’s very special day!
