What a week it has been! Between Nicholas’ swim lessons and soccer, bottle training Ella, and trying to figure out how to work my new super confusing camera…I’m a little spent! First world problems, right? Anyway, I’m getting ready for our annual girls’ trip that’s coming up this week in 30A, and trying to get Ella to take a bottle (so I could actually go) has been a daaaaaunting task. It has taken FOUR whole weeks to finally get her to take the darn thing. After lots of tears on both our ends and a small fortune spent on bottles and every nipple known to mankind, she’s drinking from a bottle like a champ. Now momma can get excited for her trip…and be sad that I’m leaving her for three days! Sigh….the struggles of motherhood.
Before I start packing summer clothes, I wanted to share this outfit from the Nordstrom Sale that I just love. If you read my first post, you know I got this sweater in both colors because the sleeves are just so beautiful, and it was actually really soft and comfortable. For $45, it was calling my name and I had to have!
My jeans are good old American Eagle because they seem to fit the best with my shorter legs. They also have some stretch, and aren’t see through, which can be a problem with white denim. You can find them here. I’m also a huge fan of these jeans by Free People. They are so flattering and the busted knee gives them some edge.
These booties are one of the first things I purchased from the sale, and they are the most comfortable booties I own! They have beautiful detailing on the front which sets them apart from all the other fall shoes out there. They are still in stock in all sizes too!
I love a good pair of sunglasses because they add so much to your outfit with so little effort. I’ve invested in designer pairs that will get so much use, but I’m also a fan of those special Target finds that are dupes for designer shades. Cheers to you, Target, for keeping up with the trends! These right here are one of those Target finds, and they look similar to the Dior “Reflected” shades. Whether you want to invest a lot in sunglasses, or prefer a more budget friendly pair, there’s no question you’ll look and feel like a million bucks in these!
I’m off to start the packing process for the beach and to get ready for the premiere of Shark Week tonight! Not sure how I feel about the timing of that. Hope you all have a wonderful week, and I’ll be sure to share some beach inspiration once I get back! XO

Being a bag lady, my eye goes right to that great little crossbody bag! I love the statement sleeves, but a sleeve is just not do-able for me at work so i don’t buy many. Love the blog Tara.
